    Cape Bonavista Lighthouse Provincial Historic Site
    Restored to the 1870 priod guides in period costume will show you the world of Jeremiah White, who tended the light 100 years ago. This lighthouse began operating in 1843.

    The Mockbeggar Property Provincial Historic Site
    This site has buildings from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. The main attraction here is the home of F. Gordon Bradley, the first federal cabinet minister after Newfoundland became part of Canada. The house has been restored to how it was in 1939, but it was built in the 1870s.
